There is a foot onsen outside were you can sit and eat your goodies. There is a dog onsen too but only from 1000 to 1500, after that they drain them :(. If are traveling north bound it can take some time to turn in to the rest stop if there is traffic there is no dedicated turn. There is parking on the north bound side in small lots to the left. I almost forgot about the wonderful selection of Ice Cream!!!! They even have wasabi chocolate, it’s better then it sounds!!

Plenty of sea food from fresh mix with special sauces, and dried sea food. Sweets, chips made from fish, seaweed base soup. You can easily spend your money's worth for some natural foods here. This place is accessible by car, bus, or JR train.

I think the road station around here is the largest. There is also a hot spring with open-air. Meals are also substantial. The picture is a sashimi fried set meal of Taro Izu. Later I noticed that there were 10 kinds of local fish, such as medina, parrotfish, and sowarra, and I thought it would be nice to go there. But the fries were also delicious enough. There are plenty of souvenirs, and I always buy salted food.

Nice stopover and lunch place on the way to south Izu.

Beautiful rest area on the way to and from Shimoda. There is a free public foot bath to rest your feet with a view of the calm ocean. Plenty of food and souvenirs.

Came here on a whim, and liked it. Mid winter and raining, but even still we enjoyed the free outdoor foot onsen. Restaurant food was tasty, and prices were good for any budget. Took the ferry with the under water windows. It was lame and overpriced. There was nothing to see underwater. Taxis are available, and not too far to walk from Ito Station.

The sushi restaurant on the first floor was very nice, and their Dons were delicious. The restaurant was quite large, being able to accommodate a group of 9.

Recommended for those climbing from Higashiizu and Ito.The parking lot was very large and was stopped on the afternoon of the last day of the holidays. (There will be traffic congestion on the way home.)The Asagiri Kogen software (same as Road Station Asagiri Kogen) that you can eat here is excellent!Probably the best soft serve ice cream in Kanto. Lol

Speaking of sightseeing spots around Ito Station, here. A one-way bus from Ito Station costs about 5 minutes and costs 170 yen. You could rent a stroller, and a coin locker could also leave a carry bag for 200 yen. There is also a space where small infants can change diapers, so they can be used safely with children. If you buy souvenirs around Ito Station, you can buy them here!

Whenever I go south of Izu Kogen, I definitely drop by. The color of the sea in the yacht harbor is beautiful and you can often see a group of small colored fish. It seems that there is also a bath.

This time, we stopped by to buy souvenirs after the workshop at Ito Onsen Hotel Juraku. Purchased items include salted squid and bottled Ebina miso, dried horse mackerel, dried matcha pudding, sweets from the hills where oranges bloom, orange cider in Shizuoka, and others. The souvenirs were the shrimp miso and the salted salted squid. Shrimp miso, not crab miso, is perfect for a snack of sake. This was very popular with the taste of squid sashimi dressed in swords. There was a request to ask for a souvenir of the next Izu trip again.

One of the fun places to stop by when visiting Ito or Izu. It seems that many people come by camper from other prefectures on weekends and consecutive holidays. Rest assured that there is a 24-hour toilet. There are many shops where you can eat and souvenirs are sold so that you can enjoy it with your family.

The building itself is a little old, but it is very cozy with souvenirs and food.If you go outside, you can feel the sea breeze. There are seafood, ramen, souvenirs, etc. in the building and I am very satisfied. There are toilets and parking lots. Also, the seafood bowl was very large and delicious. I want to go again.

Be sure to stop by when traveling to Izu Peninsula. The parking lot is very large. There is also one for motorcycles.Holidays are sometimes awaited.Good as souvenir shop, rice shop, cafe, harbor, scenic spot. There are quite a lot of souvenir shops, so if you search here, you can manage it.There are quite a few restaurants on the second floor, but the lunch on Saturdays and Sundays is still crowded. We do not wait for lunch on weekdays. Although it is a basic fish dish, there are also ramen and meat dishes, so people who are not good at fish can manage it. The fish is delicious. There is a souvenir shop and a cafe in a separate building. I like liquor and fancy souvenir shops. The cafe is a local ranch so the ice is very good. There are many types. It seems to be happy if you eat while watching the sea.Everyone would be happy if they ate ice while watching the sea.Recently, a room like that was being pushed out of the room. I just did it.I will go again.

It is my favorite roadside station, but it is getting old. I think that the toilet in the building should be renewed especially. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops, and the number of items is abundant. There are plenty of classic onsen steamed buns and miscellaneous goods, so it is an excellent shop to buy souvenirs.

Very Interesting Place to Visit in Ito City , Shizuoka Prefecture

One of the more popular 'Michi no Eki's (Driver's Rest Areas). Free parking, local cuisine,, touristy thingy's, regular events, a plush marina, public toilets, spa, great sea view, overnight car camping, and places to eat across the street as well. The only downside is that the shos close rather early ... maybe 8 or 9 pm.
Fred Hsu
Great rest stop. Lots of food choices, awesome beers and awesome macha green tea. Also can pick up some Mt. Fuji cookies and omiyage!

I used it during the night in the car. Despite the winter Friday night, the parking lot is about 70% full by morning. It is not too noisy during the night and has a toilet that is open 24 hours a day. The person in charge was being cleaned early in the morning. That's why it's clean. Great thanks. There is also a hot spring in the facility, which is open from early morning.Anyway, it is a popular spot in the carAs soon as you stay.
